Qatar announces 3 years jail term & GBP 45,000 penalty for anyone not wearing a mask, Kuwait has the same saga.

In India, we have seen Muslims and Jamati elements openly organizing crowds in mosques and elsewhere for religious practices, attacking doctors & nurses unnecessarily, and clashing with cops on the street. Indian Muslims must think themselves as lucky while living in India as many Muslim majority countries have announced tough measures & restrictions to contain the spread of coronavirus. Saudi Arabia has observed lockdown & banned all religious rites that gather crowds. People have been asked to stay inside their homes & not to violate lockdown. It also has tough laws to punish anyone who misbehaves and attacks medical professionals.

We have the report that Qatar will jail anyone for 3 years and will impose a fine up to GBP 45,000 who breaks the lockdown & doesn't wear a face mask. Similarly, Kuwait announced jail terms & a fine of GBP 16,200 against all rule-breakers who breaches the government installed lockdown in the country & refuses to wear a mask. More details to follow!
