Amphan cyclone hits eastern India hard, 84 people reportedly killed, large scale destruction in West Bengal & Odisha

Currently, the coronavirus outbreak is in the media limelight. This health hazard is causing problems in people's lives every day all across the world and fueling anti-China sentiments across the globe. It seems that nature is in revenge mode. It is sending more problems in people's lives one way or another. The Amphan cyclone has now caused problems in people's lives in East India.

As reported by many mainstream media organizations, the powerful Amphan Cyclone hit West Bengal, Odisha & Bangladesh hard. Winds were blowing 190KM/h. Strong gale and torrential rain caused large scale damage. It uprooted trees, killed 84 people, destroyed houses and vehicles & flooded many areas of West Bengal. India's PM Narendra Modi conducted an aerial survey soon after the incident. He issued Rs 1000 crores and Rs 500 crores to West Bengal & Odisha. This crisis let people without water and electricity, which forced people to protest against the delay in rescue operations. The Amphan cyclone also killed 10 people in Bangladesh & caused large-scale destruction. More details to follow.
