Drug Cartel In Bollywood: Big Hindi Film Stars Under NCB Scanner

Common Indians are crazy about film stars. They never hesitate to disturb their routine works just to have a glimpse of their favourite actors and actors. Movie lovers spend their hard-earned money to see third-class movies created by Hindi filmmakers. An unknown actor becomes a megastar someday because of the love shown by the audience. But, don’t believe the shining faces of movie stars. They hide a lot of secrets behind the scene.

Frankly speaking, Bollywood is notorious for nepotism, plagiarism (stealing the content of films of other languages), exploiting female stars, using black money for the production of new movies, accepting illegal money from the underworld mafia dons, creating propaganda and anti-Hindu movies, tax evasion, spreading nudity in the society, promoting smoking and liquor consumption, and consuming prohibited drugs

The suspicious death of Sushant Singh Rajpoot has triggered people’s anger against the stupid activities of famous film celebrities. Due to the collective unwillingness of the Maharashtra government and Mumbai Police not to launch an impartial probe into the SSR’s suspicious death and growing public pressure, the honourable Supreme court approved the request of Bihar & the central government to bring CBI into the picture. Interestingly, both the Maharashtra government and prime accessed Rhea Chakraborty opposed CBI’s involvement in the SSR murder case. Moreover, the Mumbai Police, which is compared with the world’s best police- Scotland Yard- is doing everything possible to protect criminals and obstruct the CBI probe.

Despite several difficulties, CBI, ED, and NCB are investigating the SSR murder case from different angles. During the probe, these agencies retrieved old WhatsApp chats from the cellphones belonging to film starts which revealed their involvement in drug parties and possible consumption. For a long time, it is believed that drug use is quite common in Bollywood and other film industries in India. Such perception became stronger in recent years.

Despite active help from Mumbai Police, the Maharashtra government, hiring an expensive lawyer, and doing a propaganda Interview with notorious journalist Rajdeep Sardesai, Rhea Chakraborty landed behind bars. She admitted that she used prohibited drugs. She also disclosed the names of 25 film stars who used drugs. This created an uproar in India media and Bollywood. NCB summoned Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Karan Jauhar, and Rakul Preet Singh for questioning.

Several drug peddlers were arrested and put in jail. The probe is on, which is giving sleepless nights to drug users in Bollywood. Debates are being organized on different Indian news channels in which anchors are asking tough questions to film stars regarding their involvement in the drug purchase, use, and consumption. Shivsena’s leader and abusive dog Sanjay Raut is unhappy with an ongoing probe against drug users. As a responsible citizen of this country, I believe NCB must crackdown drug use in Bollywood and send all culprits behind bars if they are found guilty.

The interesting thing is that the Maharashtra government & lobbies associated with it are losing in the perception battle. Public life & politics is all about how common people think of public figures/politicians. Shivsena, Mumbai police, biased media organizations seem to support the wrong party in the SSR’s murder case. They have lost their image & reputation in the publics’ eyes. Shivsena is hurting its core vote bank by joining hands with NCP & Congress & becoming a part of their ideological acts. I believe Uddhav Thakare will become null and void if his government collapses.
