Who will make China Pay for coronavirus damages?

Are you fed up with being locked inside your house? Want the freedom of movement & a normal life soon? If yes, we have bad news for you- Coronavirus episode is not going anywhere soon. It is here to stay for a considerable period of time. Let's talk about the situation unfolding in the world regarding the coronavirus epidemic.

Presently, full or partial lockdown is implemented in almost 210 countries of the world. The world economy may shrink up to 1% in 2020 and suffer a massive loss of up to $8.8 Trillion. Due to lockdown and its subsequent extensions, all major economic activities are suspended, thus causing a great loss to common individuals, companies, business organisations, firms. Developed countries with good healthcare systems such as the USA, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Russia are some of the biggest victims of the coronavirus epidemic.

Due to sharply increasing death toll and infection, anti-China sentiments are building up in different parts of the world. In the USA, several firms have filed lawsuits against China seeking compensation from it for the damages caused by the spread of coronavirus. A German tabloid sent compensation notice to China. Australia, European Union, the Netherlands, America and other countries have jointly asked for an independent probe into the origin of the "Chinese virus" and punish those who are responsible for its rapid spread all across the world. Instead of cooperating with the rest of the world, China stubbornly rejected calls to launch an independent probe in this matter and threatened different countries. Recently, it suspended the import of beef from Australia in retaliation to the demand of the Australian government to find the origins of "coronavirus".

Coronavirus has hit America hard. So far, the total death toll is 89000+. New casualties are being added to the list every day. So, the US President Donald Trump is furious with China. He accused China of hiding the truth about coronavirus, misleading the world and keeping and keeping the rest of the world in dark regarding this deadly disease. Presently, China and the USA are loggerheads on this issue.

Personally, I believe that China is a rogue state. It is run by an authoritarian communist regime which is notorious for violently suppressing dissidents in the country, creating controversies with neighbouring countries and acting like a ruffian in the world community.

China always thinks of its benefits. It doesn't care about the benefits of the whole world. It has made tremendous progress in the last 4 decades and is now the second-largest economy of the world. It manufactures low-quality and cheaply priced products, dumps them into the world market, and earn a massive amount of money. Because of its great economic development & power, no country in the world dares to speak against its hooliganism, debt trap economic policy and aggressive diplomacy.

As the pressure is mounting on China to give clarification about its role in the creation & rapid spread of coronavirus, it has started to act like an International Gunda. Recently, the Chinese Army infiltrated India's Sikkim & messed up with the Indian army. It is threatening Taiwan, Japan, Australia and other countries. It is increasing its military activities in the South China Sea to intimidate small nations.

All these activities have forced the rest of the world to join hands to combat the growing influence of China. Recently, different countries have made amendments to their Foreign Direct Investment rules to stop Chinese companies from buying struggling firms that are experiencing economic hardships due to the coronavirus epidemic & loss of business opportunities. Many multinational companies are mulling to move their factories and production units out of China and reestablish them in countries like China, Vietnam, Philippines, etc.

Japan has deployed fighter jets to keep a close eye on the movement of Chinese fighter planes. America started its military exercise in the South China sea to test its war and deterrence capabilities.

The US president refused to communicate with his Chinese counterpart. The USA imposes new restrictions on controversial company Huawei. American senators are moving ahead with "plan 18" to impose economic sanctions against China and punish it severely in case it refuses to cooperate with the coronavirus probe. The USA and the rest of the world should unite and force China to come clean on its role in spreading the coronavirus epidemic.
