As "Chinese Virus" continues to kill Americans every day, tension is increasing sharply between America & China. Both countries are on collision-course. The US president Donald Trump is angry with China for its attempts to hide the truth about coronavirus in the initial days that helped this invisible enemy to go global & slaughter people in large numbers.
Presently, America is the biggest victim of Coronaries. The official death toll is 94,993 and it continues to increase. America, in the leadership of President Donald Trump, has insisted on an impartial investigation into the origin of coronavirus and punish all those responsible behind the worldwide spread. China has something to hide on this issue and therefore it refuses to cooperate in an impartial probe. This irks the USA & is the main cause of the strained relationship between two counties.
During this crisis time, Taiwan, a small country in Asia, has emerged as a good nation that thinks of human welfare first. At first, it successfully secured itself from the attack of the Chinese virus & disclosed the stupid activities of WHO & China regarding coronavirus outbreak 2020. It requested WHO to conduct its own investigation into the coronavirus outbreak. But Who ignored it. On the other side, WHO denied Taiwan's allegations.
Taiwan is a small country which is often harassed by China which aims to annex it anyhow. China calls Taiwan a rebel province and emphasizes its so-called reunification with itself even by the use of military power. So, China threatens any country, diplomat or leader that tries to be friends with Taiwan.
China's Foreign Ministry has threatened the US of dire consequences on the Taiwan issue when US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo tweeted and congratulated Taiwan's President Sai Ing-Wen for a second term. It said that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has caused serious damage to the stability and peace of the Taiwan region & US-China relations.
It is noteworthy that China has been claiming Taiwan since the end of the civil war in 1949. On the other hand, Taiwan considers itself an independent and sovereign country. China, like Hong Kong, wants to impose 'one country, two systems' on this small nation.
